Due to the growth of the business throughout Europe and the relocation of their HQ to Canary Wharf in 2004 Lehman Brothers required the BMS to play an integral role in their business continuity plan by providing essential monitoring of their remote sites by their facilities team from a central control room.
Switch Controls worked closely with the facilities department to design a dual redundancy solution utilising the clients TCP/IP communications network with backup provided by conventional PSTN modems. We installed this system at various sites throughout Europe providing detailed information regarding power conditions and consumption as well as instantaneous alerts relating to critical systems and environmental conditions within their satellite offices, data centers and server rooms.
