100 New Bridge St is a multi-tenanted office building of 50,000 sq/ft managed by Broadgate Estates Ltd on behalf of British Land. The existing BMS within the building controlled the main plant as well as all the terminal units on the floors but had become obsolete and consequently difficult and expensive to maintain.
After meticulous consultation with our client, a comprehensive solution was established and a specification for the replacement of the entire BMS with a Trend system produced. After first installing a BMS supervisor and network backbone, we then systematically replaced the system on a plant by plant basis minimising down time. These works were carried out whilst the building was still under full occupation with minimal disruption to the occupants.
